Word of the Week
I love dogs. To start off, If you are going to get a dog, then you need to know alot about their breed! You need to know if there smart, friendly, good around kids, and many more things. Do a little research, find out about the kind of dog you want! I have a maltipoo, they are very friendly and good around kids. Some dogs cost more than others. Some dogs cost more to take care of than others. Once you find your dog, it will probally be rough at first. They won't want to play with you, they'll want to be by themselves, and they'll want to sniff around. They will probally bark or whimper at night. They will miss there parents and there "pack" of brothers and sisters! I have been told that you can lay a clock next to them and it will feel like there mothers heartbeat. (For puppies only) Next, you are going to have to potty train them, it can be frustrating at times, but you have to keep trying. You can buy a litterbox/pottytraining mat. The way I trained my dogs when I first got them, was I bought puppytraining treats and I let them out every 30 minutes. When they go potty outside give them a treat. If they just go outside and do nothing, don't give them a treat. The training depends on how smart your dog is. You can train your dog by yourself, or you can take them to a trainig area. I trained my dogs, it worked out fine. I tought them by doing simple hand gestures and saying the trick I am traing them at the same time. I practiced fom 5-10 times a day. After they did the trick, I gave them a small treat. | About Me
